Father Daughter Sweetheart Ball
The annual Father Daughter Sweetheart Ball will be held tonight and Saturday at Celebrations Banquet & Conference Facility.
The evening will include dinner and dancing beginning at 6 p.m. each night, dance lessons with Becky Seamster Studio, a craft project, princess crowns and a photo opportunity with Mike Wise. Themes and activities will be adjusted for appropriate ages. Tonight’s event is for ages 10 and older, and Saturday’s event is for the younger girls.

Valentine’s Day is a DRAG
Kokomo Pride Youth Group will be hosting an all-ages Valentine’s Day-themed Drag show tonight.
The event will be held at the Train Depot Community Room, upstairs from Tin Man Kokomo Brewing, and will feature performances by Venus, Glinda B Fierce, Diana Thirst, Scarlett O’Rose, Foxxxy Monroe Fierce, Ivy O’Rose and Aura Aurora.

Dozens of people are willingly going to jump in a lake this weekend — in the dead of winter. They are “freezin’ for a reason” to support the Special Olympics of Howard County.
If you are ready to take the daring dip, registration will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. before the plunge. The 2019 Polar Plunge will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crossroads Community Church South Kokomo Campus, 4254 S. 00 E.W.

The Art of Sam Prifogle
The main branch of the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library will transform into an art gallery this evening to host the Art of Sam Prifogle exhibition.
Prifogle, a Howard County artist, will be presenting all of his largest works, ranging from paintings that are 4-to-8-feet tall. The exhibit will also include some of his earliest pieces that have never been displayed publically before.

Live music at The Coterie
The Coterie will be hosting two nights of live music this weekend.
Tonight, Moonbeau will perform beginning at 9 p.m. The Cincinnati-based duo will perform 80’s revivalist synth pop.
On Saturday, ThursTones will take the stage at 9 p.m. The Noblesville native Craig Thurston is joined by Scott Nelson for a performance that will transcend genres.
