Empty Bowl Fundraiser

The annual Empty Bowl Fundraiser is today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. at Rozzi's Catering and Continental Ballroom, 920 Millbrook Lane.

The project, which is part of a national initiative, invites guests for a simple meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a cash donation, guests are asked to keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in Howard County, which come as a result of food insecurity.

All proceeds go to help Kokomo Urban Outreach feed food insecure families in the community.
