Those who can play the fiddle, sing a tune, dance a jig, breathe fire or anything in between are invited to audition for Kokomo's Got Talent.

Kokomo’s Got Talent, presented by the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra, will showcase performers at 7 p.m. June 15 in Kresge Auditorium on the Indiana University Kokomo campus inside the Kelly Center.

"This is a great way to really get out there and showcase your talent," said KSO Director of Development Jennifer Rollins.

Auditions for the show will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, also at Kresge Auditorium. Up to 15 acts can perform each night of auditions. The deadline to register for auditions is Sunday, Rollins said. There are spaces available.

The prize for first place is $500, second place is $250 and third place is $150, Rollins said.

This is the third annual KGT, and Rollins has been involved along the way.

"It's amazing how many people around here are so incredibly talented," she said. "You wouldn't think, 'Oh, little Kokomo has some amazing talents.' Yes, we really do. It never ceases to amaze me."

Auditions are open to the public, tickets are $5. Admission to see the finalists perform on Saturday is $10 for adults and students and free for children 5 and under.
