Kokomo’s Seainna Winner is spending this week in Zionsville competing for the title of Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen 2019.
Winner, 14, a Kokomo High School student, is one of 28 13- to 17-year-olds competing for Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen. The Miss Ohio Valley’s Outstanding Teen, Winner’s talent is vocal performance and her social impact initiative is “Let’s Talk Heart to Heart.”
In all, the competition brings together 64 outstanding and talented young women who are leaders in their communities and throughout the state, according to a press release.
Additionally, 36 contestants are on hand competing for Miss Indiana, which is for women between the ages of 17 to 25.
The young women will compete for nearly $60,000 in scholarships along with those respective titles at the event. Contestants arrived Sunday, with three nights of preliminary competition held Wednesday, today and Friday, culminating in the Miss Indiana Final Competition on Saturday beginning at 6 p.m., with Miss Indiana and Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen being crowned by the end of the night.
